Strawberry Chocolate  Truffles

Life Around the Table

These delicious homemade Strawberry Chocolate Truffles have a smooth chocolate and strawberry filling that's paired with a crushed freeze-dried strawberry coating providing a delightful little crunch.

Simple Ingredients

– semi sweet baker's  chocolate – coconut cream – seedless strawberry jam – pure vanilla extract – freeze-dried  strawberries

Step 1: Chop the baker's chocolate into small pieces for melting.

Step 2: In a double boiler over medium-high heat, combine the coconut cream and strawberry jam. Once the mixture is warm add the chocolate. Stir until the chocolate is melted.

Step 3: Cover and chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 4 hours until firm.

Step 4: Roll the chilled chocolate mixture into small balls and place them on a parchment lined baking sheet. Return them to the fridge while you complete the next step.

Step 5: Roll the truffles in the strawberry powder until completely coated. Return the coated truffles to the fridge and enjoy them chilled.
